• Objective
• What types of environmental conditions occur in
  the major biomes and how do the organisms depend
  on one another?

1. Biome

• -large area characterized by its climate, plants,
  and animals living in that area.
• The abiotic factor in a biome would be CLIMATE,
  because it is non-living.

2. Land Biomes

• 1.Temperate Deciduous Forest
• ( lots of leaves / mild temperatures)
• 2. Coniferous Forest
• ( lots needle-like leaves / cold winters )
• 3.Tropical Rain Forest
• ( lots of species of plants and animals/very hot
  and wet )

• 4. Grasslands/Savanna
• ( Flat with many grasses and can be hot )
• 5.Deserts
• ( animals have adaptations to survive here/very
  hot and dry)

• ( treeless/ cold and dry)
