• Start writing your speech to persuade the
  scientists to crossbreed your animals
• You will write a 3 paragraph essay using our new
  essay format (100pts).
• 1st paragraph is H,M,S,T (funnel method)
• 2nd paragraph is TREAEAEEAT method (1 reason for
  breeding with 3 pieces of evidence from sources
  to support thesis
• 3rd paragraph is RADAR method
• You will present this speech to the class on
  Thursday, March 21st
• Your picture will be your visual aid. Make sure
  it is colored and has your habitat ready for
  March 21st!

• Cite at least one source ? web article BE CLEAR
  on who the X is!
• Use the vocabulary from article
• Correctly use all 5 comma rules at least once
• Correctly use a semicolon/colon at least once
• Have a strong thesis to support your argument
• Have a strong conclusion that supports your
  argument and does NOT introduce new facts
• Correctly spell, punctuate, and capitalize
• NO PRONOUNS (I, me, you, we, or my opinion)
• DO NOT overuse pronouns
• You must vary your sentence structure simple,
  compound, and complex sentences
