SCET
  • SCET is an effective theory by integrating out
    high energy modes.
  • Define effective fields (like collinear quarks,
    collinear gluons, soft quarks,).
  • Express an amplitude in terms of expansion of
    nonlocal operators of these effective fields.
  • The coefficients of these operators are the hard
    kernels.
  • The matrix element of the operators are DAs.
  • Compute hard kernels, and show their IR
    finiteness order by order.
