  or more nouns or pronouns

• Definition A word that is used to modify/specify
  a noun or pronoun
• Types articles, demonstrative, common, proper
• Examples a, an, the (articles), this, these

• Definition A word that expresses either physical
  or mental activity
• Types action, linking, helping, main,

• Definition A word that shows the relationship of
  a noun or pronoun to another word
• Examples on, under, next to, except, since
• REMEMBER Anywhere a cat can go, or anything a

• Definition A word that is used to express
  emotion usually does not have any grammatical
  connection to the rest of the sentence
• Examples Aha! Hey! Ouch! Oh! Yikes! Yippee! Wow!
