15Semi-colon
- A semicolon is used to link two complete
sentences without a conjunction such as and or
but. Im going to the grocery store I need to
buy bananas. - I wanted to go to the beach today however, I
have to go to work. - (used when same thought is continued)

- Think of the colon as a gate, inviting one to go
on LIST OR EXPLANATION - There is only one thing left to do now confess
while you still have time. - My favorite foods are all fried chicken, oreos
and onion rings. - must be a complete thought before the colon.

- Hyphens connect 2 words
