  changes existing rock into new rock.

• Change caused by rocks being buried deep
  underground.
• Subduction Zones.
• Heat and pressure are created by the weight of
  rocks above.
• As rocks are compressed and heated , mineral
  structure and texture may change.

• it is classified as a metamorphic rock.
• If it melts and becomes magma, it is an igneous
  rock

  magma.
• The super hot magma bakes the surrounding rock.
