  tapered.
• I assume you mean the sorting and arranging of
  the bristle is a hand operation - it's the hog
  that
• does the tapering and flagging.
• BTW - ever wonder why Chinese Bristle is used????
  Well it seems the Chinese prefer older pork
• and the bristle on their hogs grows longer. Also
  - their hogs are sem-wild and roam free to forage
  in
• sometimes extreme consditions. It's this
  combibation of climate, diet and length that's
  the reason
• China has the best bristle.
