This workshop will overview fundamentals
emphasising optical properties. Talks on
measurement/simulation methodologies and what
they tell us about glass structure will underpin
lectures on properties and their structural
dependence e.g. optical behaviour, viscosity and
aging, nucleation and crystallisation. In
addition the role of the surfaces for products
will be discussed. The lecturers will be world
experts in their fields. A significant aspect of
the workshop will be student-centred projects
that will help you to develop your understanding
by applying your knowledge to specific issues.
