10Use of scaffolds in supporting learning (Medical
Educators)
- Used as a prompt
- Reading materials, case scenarios all very useful
- Great in providing framework for the group
session - I have reviewed them and used some content to
support the clinical topics - Used as a guide these seem to need to be
developed further
11Use of scaffolds in supporting learning
(Registrars)
- Advanced reading makes discussion enjoyable and
more meaningful. One is able to think over things
and present at learning groups - Very practical for day-to-day practices
important topics - Good to direct us in reading and understand some
things that we are not good at - Good to guide discussion - able to focus on key
aspects - Too prescriptive but nice to have some resources
- Havent used/ not useful/ NA (30 replies)
12Succession planning
- Twenty percent of respondents (13) indicated they
would be interested in teaching once Fellowship
achieved - Four of 11 Medical Educators indicated that
probably they would be interested in running a
learning group next year
13Further Developments
- Revision of Scaffolds
- Addition of directed clinical practice/case based
learning resources - Interprofessional learning groups
- Greater use of web-based tools
