Cbms In Camarines Norte
  • First Round of Implementation in 2003
  • It started in 2003 with the Municipalities of
    Labo and Sta Elena completed the first round of
    implementation and the other municipalities
    followed suit but was not able to complete the
    activities on time
  • Second Round of Implementation in 2006
  • With the support from the Provincial Government,
    the 12 municipalities of Camarines Norte was able
    to implement the activities at the same time,
    from Enumeration to the preparation of CBMS-based
    Development Plan

  • ACCEPTANCE (Resistance to New Ideas of the policy
    and decision makers)
  • MANPOWER REQUIREMENT (the enormity of the
    workload required, capable manpower to implement
    the activities is very crucial from the
    enumerators, encoders and other personnel
    involved)
  • AVAILABILITY OF EQUIPMENTS (its not only the
    availability but also the capacity of the
    equipments needed is also very crucial
    specifically in the computerization process)
  • COMMITMENT(support from all sectors of the
    community is also crucial to the effective
    implementation of the activity)

  • ACCEPTANCE
  • Intensive Information-Education Campaign
  • The LCE was invited during the 1st CBMS National
    Conference in Palawan
  • The CBMS Team oriented the SB Members and the
    Municipal Development Council regarding the CBMS
    Activities
  • Various local leaders were invited to attend
    National Conferences of the CBMS
  • Radio Programs were provided as part of the IEC
  • Validation of CBMS Result at the Barangay Level
  • Financial Support thru Grant Program was extended
    to the CBMS practitioners

  • The Provincial Government provided 412,255.00Php
    as counterpart to the 4,030,390.00Php of the fund
    allocated by the 12 municipalities for the
    implementation of the second round of CBMS in the
    Province.
