5Homework Policy
- 5th Grade Homework Policy
- All assignments should be daily recorded in the
planner. - Missed homework assignments will cost the
students 1 Spartan Cash. - All homework is graded.
- Homework points will be lost by
- turning in incomplete work
- turning in illegible work
- not turning work in by 915 AM the following day
for partial credit
6Zero Credit Policy
- For long range assignments, zero credit will be
assigned two days past the due date. - Email notification will be sent home.
7Classroom Management Plan
- All teachers will be following the
- Hard Work Pays Off in 5th Grade
- system this year. The students will
- earn Spartan cash for doing the right
- thing this year. They will use that
- cash to buy into a lot of memorable
- experiences!

- Read 20 novels
- Read 5 non-fiction selections
- Fill out a small note card on each book
- as proof of completion
- One book per month can also count as the
students Book-it obligation. No formal book
reports.
10Skyward Parent Portal
- Skyward is the system on which we keep records
for students, including grades. - The parent portal will allow you, as parents to
view current assignments, grades and missing
assignments/tests. - Please allow enough time for grades to be added.
Most teachers only update Skyward weekly.
