FILM AND TELEVISION
Film, video and television are important elements
in our daily lives. Delivered through many media,
including broadcast, cable, mobiles, online and
wireless, these forms provide us with
entertainment, news, games, retail opportunities,
interactive participation, information and
relaxation. The Film and Television courses
provide students with hands-on production
experience in areas such as scriptwriting, camera
work, lighting, sound, editing and direction.
Film and Television students develop expertise
relevant to emerging processes in film,
television, video and the new means of delivery
of sound and vision including internet and
hand-held players. Practical learning enables
students to develop skills in telling stories
through documentary, short film, experimental and
animation forms.
