• Successfully pass the Praxis I Pre-Professional
  Skills Test in
• Math (171)

  implemented for the PPST exams

  Certification in South Dakota, SDCL 13-42-10

• Caution You may be refused a teaching
  certificate for convictions of crime involving
  moral turpitude including traffic in either
  controlled substances or marijuana

• SDCL 13-10-12 requires criminal background checks
  using DCI and FBI fingerprinting for employment
  in South Dakota schools

• NOTE School districts may refuse employment to
  persons convicted of crimes involving moral
  turpitude and prohibits employment for
  convictions of crimes of violence, sex offenses,
