Professional Experience
Joe Hundebyhas had a diverse range of experiences
in the educational field.He has spent quality
time as a teacher and school administrator and
understands the utmost importance of education on
all levels. He worked as the K-8 Principal at
Todd County Schools and as the Elementary
Principal at Verndale Schools. His high
school experience includes working as a former
Principal of Verndale Schools. He was also the
alternative learning teacher at Pine Ridge
Schools in South Dakota.

Academic Achievements
He successfully orchestrated the school
improvement gains necessary to remove Todd
Country Schools from NCLB sanctions for low
attendance and academic deficiencies. He
successfully impacted and raised graduation rates
and successfully initiated a university research
study of International Education
populations. His achievements include selection
to attend and participate in the International
Technology Conference in Winnipeg Canada on
behalf of the University of North Dakota and St.
Cloud State University.

He has worked with challenging behaviors and
academic needs in a variety of settings. He
effectively implemented, maintained and created
16 academic course offerings in the software
program Plato for the Alternative Learning Center
for credit recovery and specific learning needs.

Educational Qualifications
Joe Hundeby received his Bachelors of Education
from Iowa Wesleyan College. He received college
scholarship and has played football for four
years and traveled to Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa,
South Dakota, Kansas, Ohio, Nebraska and
Missouri. He is currently a Graduate Research
Assistant at the University of North Dakota in
Grand Forks, where he is a Ph.D. Candidate.
Licensed in the field of General Education and
is Pursuing his Special Education license.
