- Founded in 1919
- JA started as a collection of small after-
school business clubs for students in
Springfield, Massachusetts. - JA now reaches more than 11 million young
people worldwide each year.
7JA North Alabama History
- Huntsville office founded in 1985.
- Merged with Decatur office in Jan 2009
- Recently formed Marshall Co. District summer
2011 - Now serves 12 counties
- - 11 in North Alabama, 1 in Tennessee
- Teaches approximately 10,000 students each year!
