Who was he?
  • Pythagoras or ???a???a? was a Greek Mathematician
    and is most famous for his theorem (a²b²c²)
  • He was interested in lots of things including
    mathematics, music and politics.

Early Life
  • Born in Samos, Greece
  • Born 582 B.C.
  • Was taught by philosophers Thales, Anaximander,
    and Anaximenes.
  • Was drawn away because of the way Polycrates
    ruled.

Life
  • His mother was called Pythais and his father,
    Mnesarchus.
  • He visited Egypt, Arabia, Babylon, and India.
  • After his travels, he moved to Italy to escape
    the government at that time.
  • Of course, he also discovered his theorem.
