Non-Traditionalists Cite These Verses to Argue
That Islam is Inclusive of Other
Religions. Traditional Muslim commentators
unanimously agree that they have been abrogated
by another.
Verily! Those who believe and those who are
Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever
believes in Allah and the Last Day and does
righteous good deeds shall have their reward with
the Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall
they grieve (Quran 262 and 569).

And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam,
it will never be accepted of him, and in the
Hereafter he will be one of the losers (Quran
385).
Muslim fundamentalists appeal to this passage as
defining their World View. Contradiction is no
problem due to the following

forth from the Children of Adam, from their
loins, their seed (or from Adams loin his
offspring) and made them testify as to themselves
(saying) "Am I not your Lord?" They said "Yes!
We testify," lest you should say on the Day of
Resurrection "Verily, we have been unaware of
this." (Quran 7172)

2.) Islam Claims All Humans Are Born Muslims
(Sahih Bukhari, funerals Volume 2, Book 23,
Number 441) translated by Abu Huraira Allah's
Apostle said, "Every child is born with a true
faith of Islam (i.e. to worship none but Allah
Alone) but his parents convert him to Judaism,
Christianity or Magainism, as an animal delivers
a perfect baby animal. Do you find it mutilated?"
Then Abu Huraira recited the holy verses "The
pure Allah's Islamic nature (true faith of Islam)
(i.e. worshipping none but Allah) with which He
has created human beings. No change let there be
in the religion of Allah (i.e. joining none in
worship with Allah). That is the straight
religion (Islam) but most of men know, not."
(Quran 3030)

3.) Islam Claims That God Sent Prophets Their
Books (including religions predating
Islam) And verily, We have sent among every
Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger
(proclaiming) "Worship Allah (Alone), and avoid
(or keep away from) Taghut (all false deities
i.e. do not worship Taghut besides Allah." Then
of them were some whom Allah guided and of them
were some upon whom the straying was justified.
So travel through the land and see what was the
end of those who denied (the truth). (Quran
1636)

Mohammad with the truth, a bearer of glad
tidings and a warner. And there never was a
nation but a warner had passed among them
(Quran 3524). "We did send apostles before
thee amongst the religious sects of old" (Quran

Islam And call to mind when Jesus, son of
Mary, said, O children of Israel, surely, I am
ALLAH's Messenger unto you, fulfilling that which
is before me of the prophecies of the Torah, and
giving glad tidings of a Messenger who will come
after me, his name being Ahmad (Mohammad). And
when he came to them with clear proofs, they
said, this is manifest sorcery(Quran 617)

5.) Islam Claims That Abraham Taught
Islam Abraham was neither a Jew nor a
Christian but he was ever inclined to God and
obedient to HIM, and he was not of those who
associate gods with ALLAH(Quran 368) 6.) Islam
Claims That Muslims Should Honor Previous
Prophets and Their Books Say ye, We believe
in ALLAH and what has been revealed to us, and
what was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael, and
Isaac and Jacob and his children and what

was given to Moses and Jesus, and what was given
to all other Prophets from their Lord. We make no
distinction between any of them and to HIM we
submit ourselves (Quran 2137) O ye who
believe ! believe in ALLAH and HIS Messenger and
in the Book which HE had revealed to HIS
Messenger, and the Book which HE revealed before
it. And whoso disbelieves in ALLAH and HIS
angels, and HIS Books and HIS Messengers and the
Last Day, has surely strayed far away (Quran
4137).

8.) Muslims believe that only in Mohammad certain
Bible prophecies are fulfilled. The primary
prophetic passages are, in the Old Testament,
Deuteronomy 1815 and, in the New Testament, John
1416. Those who follow the Messenger, the
Prophet, the Ummi (the prophet who can neither
read nor write) whom they find mentioned in the
Torah and the Gospel which are with them.
(Quran 7158).

9.) Muslims Claim that Mohammad is a Universal
Prophet. Say, O mankind, truly I am a
Messenger to you all from ALLAH to Whom belongs
the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. There
is no god but HE. HE gives life and HE causes
death. So believe in ALLAH and HIS Messenger, the
Ummi Prophet, who believes in ALLAH and HIS
words and follow him that you may be rightly
guided.' (Quran 7159). (Muslims claim that
former messengers were sent only to their own
people)

10.) Muslims Claim that Mohammad is the Final
Prophet Concluding the Epoch of Prophet
hood Those who delivered the Messages of ALLAH
and feared HIM, and feared none but ALLAH. And
sufficient is ALLAH as a reckoner. Muhammad is
not the father of any of your men, but he is the
Messenger of ALLAH, and the seal (last) of the
Prophets and ALLAH has full knowledge of all
things (Quran 3340-41).

11.) Muslims Claim that the Quran is the Final
Revelation of Gods Will to Mankind And this
Qur'an is not such that could be produced by
anyone other than ALLAH. On the contrary, it
fulfills that revelation which is before it and
is an exposition of the perfect Law. There is no
doubt about it that it is from the Lord of all
the worlds. And before it there was the Book
of Moses, a guide and a mercy and this is a Book
in the Arabic language, fulfilling previous
prophecies that it may warn those who do wrong,
and give glad tidings to those who do good
(Quran 1038 4613).

12.) Muslims Claim that the Quran is the Perfect
Fullness of Gods Revelation to Mankind Say
"If the mankind and the jinn were together to
produce the like of this Quran, they could not
produce the like thereof, even if they helped one
another" (Quran 1788). And indeed, We have
fully explained to mankind, in this Quran, every
kind of similitude, but most of mankind refuse
(the truth and accept nothing) but disbelief
(Quran 1789).

13.) Muslims Claim that the Quran is
Incorruptible (whereas, the Law Gospel were
either corrupted, abrogated, or taken up into
Heaven) Verily, We, it is We Who have sent
down the Dhikr (i.e. the Quran) and surely, We
will guard it (from corruption). (Quran
159) Nay! This is a Glorious Quran,
(Inscribed) in the Al-Luah Al-Mahfuz (The
Preserved or Eternal Tablet)! (Quran 8521-22).
