    UNESCO)
  • 400-500 students from over 50 countries (1)
  • 300-400  open  participants without invitation
  • 100-200 invited participants and VIPs

  • Contact IPhO organisers and national physics
    societies in different countries to make
    selection of students and to find budget for
    travel expenses (only a maximum of 60 travel
    grants will be possible)

several  big  countries  (e.g. U.S., U.K.,
China, Japan ) are still open or have not
replied at all

  • Summary of current status (10.10.2004)
  • over 45 countries will participate with a
    delegation of students
  • about 10  big  countries (USA, Canada, China,
    Japan ) and more than 10 countries in Europe
    (U.K., Ireland, Denmark, Switzerland, Italy,
    Spain, Norway, Sweden ) are still open or have
    not replied at all (after two invitation letters)
  • travel support is important for some countries
    from Asia and Africa

  • Official invitations will be sent out in 10/2004
  • Badges will be prepared in 12/2004 at EPS
  • Preparation of a books exhibition is ongoing
