• The LUETEB hires 25 freelance
  teachers and several external experts and
  ITC technology consultants.
• The LUETEB is a member of FEDERUNI
  National association promoting in Italy, since
  more than 20 years, studies, researches and
  publications on the elder people dimension,
  offering to its members the necessary cultural,
  didactical and methodological tools.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

• Organization of courses and seminars, mainly
  targeted to the recovery of manual ability for
  adult people (especially women) and the
  enrichment of basic skills, concerning the
  following topics
• Italian Literature, Italian Grammar
• Basilicatas History
• Basic IT,
• Psichology,
• Law (Citizen Rights),

• Creative Workshops of Découpage, Glass Painting,
  Flower Decoration
• Theatre
• The L.UE.T.E.B. developing programmes for young
  children parents .

PUBLICATIONS AND CONFERENCE

• In 1998/99, together with the Paediatric
  Department of Università Cattolica of Rome LUETEB
  participated in the publishing of an handbook
  entitled Pediatrica, a vademecum for parents
  and grandparents about how to manage the most
  usual children pathologies

• In 2000,
• LUETEB organized the conference entitled
  Perspective and obligations of the new-borning
  Parco of Val dAgri) with the participation and
  collaboration of the Faculty of Agriculture of
  Università of Basilicata .
• LUETEB were included into FEDERUNI (National
  federation of third age universities) which, for
  more than 20 years, has been present on national
  territory supporting the 360 federated seats from
  the point of view of the teaching and
  methodological outline.

• In 2001, they organized the regional conference
  titled The correct nourishment of children in
  their school years qualitative and nutritional
  aspects

• In 2002, The Creativity workshops were
• activated.
• They are characterized by
• techniques of painting on cloth, glass, pottery.
• LUETEB, at the end of each academic year,
  organizes exhibitions of the works its pupils
  have made to be sold in favour of the volunteers
  associations ANT and AGOP

• On 13 november 2004 a new seat has
  been institutionalized in Satriano di
  Lucania and its having a fast development and
  its gaining a great interest.

• In 2005, LUETEB organized the XXIV National
  Congress of Federuni in Potenza, entitled
  Culture and Territory.
• In 2005, the book Satriano talks about itself
  was published.
• It is a collection of pictures and life
  tales and it was coordinated by prof. Grazia
  Maria Romaniello.
