- Nanyang Girls School started in 1917 with a
Primary Section - Education for girls
- Set up by Chinese businessmen
- School Motto

- The school moved from a shop house to its own
campus at Kings Road in 1927 - Separated from Nanyang Girls High School in
1978, acquired land at 51 Coronation Road - Emphasized bilingual policy and accorded SAP
school status since 1984 - Offered Gifted Education Programme since 1990
- Operated from two campuses for 10 years
- Under one campus at 52 Kings Road in 2003
- Single session school in 2004

- If you drive
- Drive in through Gate A (Kings Road) and exit by
Gate B (Coronation Road) - Please make sure your child is ready to alight as
you drive in - Park at Blk 4 Queens Road (if you need to stay
longer for appointments made) - Strictly NO parking or Waiting along Kings Road

(Coronation Road) -
32School Dismissal
- School buses leave premises at about 1.40pm
- If you drive, please come after 1.45pm. You may
drive in through Gate A (Kings Road), pick up
your child at the Meeting Point, and exit via
Gate B (Coronation Road) - If you walk, you may walk in through Gate B
between (1.30pm to 1.40pm), or arrange for your
child to walk to Side Gate A (open for exit
6.30am to 6.00pm) or Gate C (1.30pm to 2.00pm) to
meet you.

35ABSENCE FROM SCHOOL
- Must produce childs MC upon return during
test / examination - Must produce childs MC or parents letter of
excuse for normal school days - No permission will be granted for
