3ITCC Mission Statement
- To discuss and review transportation
coordination issues and address institutional
and/or regulatory barriers to coordination to
provide the most public transportation with the
effective use of public investment.
4United We Ride
- Federal United We Ride campaign provided the
ITCC with funding to hold a series of workshops
around the state on the benefits of
transportation coordination.

- 15 MAP workshops were held between April and June
- 527 people attended a local area workshop!

10- Public transportation allows Iowans the
opportunity to contribute to their community and
supports their efforts to work and live
independently.
11- Iowa is served by 35 public transit systems
- 19 urban transit systems
- 16 multi-county regional transit systems
- More than 23 million rides are provided annually

life access to opportunities, and helps them
accomplish what is important to them.

takes everyone working together to improve
