MISSION STATEMENT
The Lawton-Fort Sill Military Child Education
Coalition will work collaboratively with military
families, civilian and military leaders,
educators and community members to establish
support systems and develop processes that
promote smooth transitions and resolve other
educational issues related to the military child.
PURPOSE OF LOCAL ACTION PLAN

• The purpose of the Local Action Plan is to
  delineate specific strategies and activities that
  will support
• the coalitions efforts in the following areas
• promote academic success for all military
  students
• promote the healthy social and emotional
  development of all military students
• promote parental involvement in the students
  educational process and
• promote effective partnerships with
  international, national, local military and
  civilian organizations.

GOAL Promote an educational environment that
supports the ability of all military
students to achieve academic success equal
to their civilian counterparts.

initiatives are in
place to facilitate smooth academic transitions
for all military
students.

OBJECTIVE 1 The Lawton-Fort Sill Military
Child Education Coalition will support

order to address the social and emotional needs
of all Lawton Public
Schools students.
