Rules
  • The youth bowler must be USBC youth certified.
    The adult bowler must be ages 18-49 as of the
    tournament date, and need not be USBC certified.
    The adult bowler may not be USBC Youth Certified.
    The senior bowler must be 50 as of the
    tournament date, and need not be USBC certified.
    Photo id with date of birth may be required at
    check in of any adult or senior bowler.
  • Contestants must check in 15 minutes prior to
    their scheduled start time.
  • All USBC rules will be strictly enforced.
  • The tournament director shall have the authority
    to decide on any matter pertaining to the
    operation of the tournament when not governed by
    its own tournament rules or any provisions of the
    USBC rules and regulations.
  • The highest book average from the 2007-2008
    season will be used, even if the current average
    for 21 games is more than 10 pins higher. If no
    certified average from the 2007-2008 season the
    current average from any league, even
    uncertified, of 21 games as 2/1/09 will be
    used. If there is no acceptable average youth
    will enter at 210, adults seniors at 230. If
    using the current average a copy of the current
    standing sheet as of 2/1/09 is required.
  • All competitors will bowl three games.
  • A bowler may bowl twice in this tournament, but
    one team member must change in each entry.
  • Tardy bowlers must begin the tournament in the
    frame being bowled at the time of arrival. No
    pins will be given for frames missed. No blind
    scores will be used.
  • Violation of any rules or falsification of any
    entry form, shall result in automatic
    disqualification of the team with no refunds.
  • No refreshments will be allowed in the bowling
    area.
  • Scholarships will be awarded on at least a 17
    plus scratch. The scholarship will be awarded in
    the name of the junior bowler and deposited in a
    SMART account. All SMART rules and regulations
    will be strictly followed. All scholarship fund
    fees will be returned 100.
  • Teams will receive the award with the higher
    value scratch or handicap, but not both.
  • This is a USBC certified tournament. Junior
    bowlers may qualify for USBC awards based on the
    "ability level" system.
  • Bowling shoes must be worn at all times.
  • No refund will be given.
  • No walk-ins allowed.
  • Bowlers must bowl with the hand they are
    certified to bowl with.
  • Proper attire must be worn. No hats will be
    allowed while bowling.
  • There will be no use of electronic devices,
    including cell phones,
