4Faculty rules
- To enter 2nd year you must gain
- 120 SCOTCATs at Level 1 (e.g. AC1A, AC1B, IT1A,
IT1B, Psychology 1 AB) - To enter 3rd year you must pass
- 240 SCOTCATs including at least 80 at level 2
- i.e. your 1st year passes, plus 120 more
5Applied Computing rules (NOT IMD)
- To enter BSc (Hons) Applied Computing 3rd year
- you must also pass AC1A, AC1B, AC2A, AC2B, IT2A,
IT2B - Joint degrees - IT2 IT1 recommended but not
mandatory

10 Faculty Applied Computing rules
- You are allowed to spend up to 3 years completing
modules at levels 1 2 (subject to your funding) - So, if you fail several modules in 1st year, you
can restart at level 1, or combine level 1 2
modules - Instead of trying to take 2 extra modules
- NOTE AC1 next year JAVA

- You need to gain 240 SCOTCATs, including at
least 80 at second year level (these are usually
AC2AB, IT2AB)
