1Once upon a time after searching the country high
and low for new talent - a new band was formed
they were called Minds Eye
2Introducing
Polly Webster on Vocals
Sundeep Kaur on keyboards
Matt obrien on drums
Darren Doors on lead guitar
3Minds eye were a lucky little group because they
had a team of professionals who were going to
promote them.
Sue Wan the Marketing Director
Martin Granger the Road Manager
Tori McDonald the Fan Club Manager
George Duffield the logistics Manager
4What luck I have managed to get a slot at the
Royal Albert Hall in London on the 10th and
11th of September for the band to perform.
The story continues withSue Wan the Marketing
Director
5And we need some strong and reliable roadies
to set up all the equipment.
We need to employ a reputable transport company
to take care of transporting all the equipment
for the gig.
The Logistics Manager George Duffield and the
Road Manager Martin Granger get together to plan
the logistics so that everything will run smoothly

12Where are we going to put the band and the
roadies to stay overnight - it has got to be a
hotel in London
I agree they will be working long hours so will
need to be local. Mind you Minds Eye will
only accept the best. Any hotel must have
health and beauty facilities so that they
can relax!
13Well you will just have to find a local
hotel with suitable facilities - somewhere
suitably glamorous
14George has always relied on you for anything
involving detailed planning. He has asked you to
produce an itinerary to co-ordinate the two days.
15How will it work - We are now going live to Eric
Fisher Transport in Bedford where Nikki Parks
and Tony Ward, the drivers are discussing timings.
How long do we need to get from Eric Fisher
Transport headquarters in Bedfordshire to the
Royal Albert Hall in London?
With my driving about 1 hour
16Interview with logistics manager for minds eye
George Duffield and the Roadies
Cmon lads Ive been in the business long enough
dont try it on with me. How long will it take
to unload, set up and test the equipment?
Despite our incredible strength and skill we need
at least five hours to unload, set up and test
the gear.
17We need a short rehearsal at least 3 hours
before the concert.
The show starts at 20.00 and finishes at 22.30
Rock n Roll! Im sure Georgie boy will arrange
for our transport back to the luxury hotel
18Eric Fisher insists that the gear goes back to
safe storage in bedford. Three hours to
dismantle and re-load the van.
George is sorting us out with a hotel in london.
Somewhere near the venue so we dont have to
travel to long!
Z zzzzzz..
19You think you have a hard life. Even with my
incredible driving it still takes an hour to get
back to base in Bedfordshire!
Back to our drivers
At least tomorrow night its all over once we
get back!
20The itinerary must be sent to Eric Fisher and
all roadies.
Who should be copied (cc????) in on the
itinerary?
Fyi stands for For your information
