The first Wildcat Career Connection program was
held on Wednesday, April 27, 2005. The purpose
of the program is to help students explore
possible career paths. Two accomplished alumni,
Bill Stevenson (72) and Laura Milani (82), were
enlisted to kick off the inaugural event with
presentations to junior and senior students at
Luther High School North.

Laura Milani, 82Founder, IN2 Products
Laura Milani, Luther North 82, grew up in a
family that exposed her to entrepreneurship. She
remembers working with her father when she was
young and doodling the logo for his first
business. I was taught that starting a business
was something that can be done, so I never
associated fear with doing it. Laura graduated
from Michigan State in 1987. After college,
Laura spent 8 years in the high tech industry,
then moved home from San Francisco to start her
own business in 1996. She began with an old
family product, a small wood box with 31 slots -
a bill organizer that her father had created for
her mother. After much work, the first product
proved to be a success. Laura has grown her
business, IN2 Products, and expanded her product
line to over 40 products all her solutions to
organizing problems. Laura enjoys traveling,
photography, scuba diving, biking and the theater.

Bill Stevenson, Luther North 72, is a 19 year
veteran of Merrill Lynchs Private Client Group.
He specializes in helping clients with both their
estate and financial planning strategies. Bill
works closely with Merrill Lynch Trust Company in
implementing advanced estate planning
strategies. Bill received his Bachelor of Arts in
Education from Concordia College in River Forest,
Illinois. He and his wife, Vicki, have been
married for 20 years and reside in Inverness,
Illinois with their two children. Before becoming
a successful financial advisor, Bill started his
career teaching and coaching at Marist High
School. After a successful high school and
college wrestling career, Bill coached the Marist
wrestling team to a state championship.
