New ESR URPs
  • Learner access to elearning content through the
    NLMS is made available to staff through the
    Employee Self Service functionality on ESR
  • Two new Employee Self Service User Responsibility
    Profiles (URPs) will be added to ESR as part of
    NLMS to assist in implementation
  • Elearning URP (A)
  • Training URP (B)
  • These are in addition to the existing full
    Employee Self Service URP (C)

Elearning URP (A)
  • The narrowest range of functionality
  • Learner can use to self enrol on or play an
    elearning course
  • Accessible remotely
  • Only URP where a learner can play a course
  • Does not require full OLM deployment
  • All learners will have this URP to play content
  • Allows rapid deployment of elearning access
    (national or local) to staff

Training Full Employee Self Service URPs
  • Training URP (B)
  • A cut down version of full employee self service,
    providing access to just the learning area
  • Learners can manage all learning events
    (including classroom based courses etc)
  • Not accessible remotely
  • Supports fully deployed OLM module
  • Full Employee Self Service URP (C)
  • This is the existing Employee Self Service URP
    which may or may not be deployed
  • Full access to all employee self service
    functionality
  • Not accessible remotely
  • Supports fully deployed OLM module

Elearning users will be allocated either URP A
alone, or in conjunction with URP B or URP C

  • Recruitment to ESR Benefits Team has commenced
    (to support implementation)
