environment - by providing information to recreation and
tourism audiences

together in a province-wide network to foster
stewardship of the environment by developing and
delivering information that is credible,
reliable, and consistent to audiences in the
nature based recreation and tourism sector.

- Estimated 100 organizations and agencies
- More than 50 outdoor recreation activities
- Nature based recreation and tourism is growing
15 per year
Stewardship information for outdoor recreation is
scattered and inconsistent
5Goals
- Develop consistent and comprehensive information
to foster stewardship of the environment by
outdoor recreationists
- Create a province-wide network of partners and
advisors to deliver useful information to target
audiences
