Some tips
  • Use positive language
  • As well as listing facts, consider adding some
    comments and interpretation
  • Your most relevant experiences/skills should be
    prominent, i.e. on the first page.
  • The amount of space you devote to a topic
    indicates the weight you want the reader to give
    to it
  • Your CV should look neat and tidy with all the
    information easy to find
  • Use the tab key (rather than the space bar) to
    indent information

    designation, backed up by key features of your
    professional self
  • Key Skills integrated in the summary or listed as
    bullet points. This will include not only your
    formal training but also workplace acumen (i.e.
    proven skilful negotiator)
  • Recent job experience which would be basic
    details of your most recent, or most important
    role so far. Include your job title, the name of
    company and date of commencement. Add a
    description of key responsibilities, tasks and
    achievements in the role
