Issue Individual Training

• 04PACOM01 USPACOM requires T2 funding to field a
  new Individual Training Branch, conduct formal
  needs assessment and to provide duty-specific
  Joint Action Officer courseware.
• Discussion PACOM has a long-identified need for
  a formal individual training program. In our
  ongoing reorganization to a J7 directorate, we
  have created an (unfunded) Individual Training
  Branch. COCOM-specific training will not
  replace, but will complement, formal JPME.
  Additionally, PACOM view is that JKDDC should
  focus on job-specific individual AO training as
  well as joint education. USPACOM will accept T2
  funding to serve as a COCOM sponsor to prototype
  Individual Training courseware.

  a significant portion of their joint tour of duty
  for on-the-job training will continue.
