Our class assignment is to travel to space and
when we come back the south won the civil war
Here we go
3Civil War 1861-1865
4And where here
Day One Dear Journal, Today I arrived back on
earth and I have realized many different changes
like the South over came the North in the Civil
War. Im trying to figure out some of the main
points of how the war first came over. Some of
my main responses where it was over Slavery
because the North didnt believe in slavery and
thought it wasnt right and the south used slaves
for most of there daily uses like pick cotton and
plowing fields and to do there own house hold
chores. Christy
5Day two Dear Journal, Today I found out that I
had to make my own clothing and I could not go
out and buy it from a department store. I have
tried sewing with my grandma before and I thought
my fingers where going to fall off. I cant
imagine making my own clothing I also found out
that I had to cook for myself. I hope there is
some fire trucks in this town. I almost burned my
house down last time I cooked. I knew I should of
brought my mom. Christy
Man shes good!!
6Day three Dear Journal, Today has been some
more question asking To the people that fought In
the war. Question one like what where some
major events that happen while you where
fighting? One of there responses was When
President Lincoln planned to send supplies to
Fort Sumter, he alerted the state in advance, in
an attempt to avoid hostilities. South Carolina,
however, feared a trick the commander of the
fort, Robert Anderson, was asked to surrender
immediately. Anderson offered to surrender, but
only after he had exhausted his supplies. His
offer was rejected, and on April 12, the Civil
War began with shots fired on the fort. Fort
Sumter eventually was surrendered to South
Carolina.
Question Two What was the out come of the
war? That the south over came the
North. Question three What significant
Constitutional changes where made? With the South
winning the war Slavery was still in effect
meaning that African Americans where not free and
where owned by there Master. And that they
couldnt go out and do things that they wanted to
do. Christy
7How would you like to have one of these hanging
on your Flag pole. When the south won. Everybody
flew this flag on there flag pole even if the
didnt like it. I think we should have our own
choice of what we can hang on our flag pole
Your, North States
Day four Dear Journal, I found this Protest on
my door step earlier today Christy
8Day Five Dear Journal, Our Friends have helped
us fix our space ship. Now we can travel back
home to present day America and see if the
changes are still in effect. The way things are
going around here I hope not because I like
doing what I want and not having to do chores at
my house like cook clean and make clothing I have
had enough of that over the past few
days. Christy
9We are traveling back to Present day America now
Im so ready to get back to my normal life.
Back Home
10Im Home!! I came home to found out that the
changes weren't made and that everything is the
way it is supposed to be I'm so happy that the
changes weren't a success
