and when did He get it?
- Isaiah 97
- There will be no end to the increase of His
government or of peace, On the throne of David
and over his kingdom, To establish it and to
uphold it with justice and righteousness From
then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of
hosts will accomplish this.
20Does go mean that all Christians are expected
to move elsewhere?
- Go is a participle and is not imperative. It
could be better translated, Having gone, make
disciples. - Make Disciples is the imperative verb.
21What does it mean to make disciples?
- Disciples are made first through conversion by
gospel preaching, and then nurtured through the
pure teaching of the Word. - Discipleship is a major theme in Matthew.
22Who is to be baptized and by what formula?
- Believers are to be baptized.
- The Bible does not state one consistent baptismal
formula to be uttered. - Name is singular the Trinitarian statement
shows Unity and plurality in the Godhead.
23What is to be taught to disciples?
- Disciples are life long learners who are taught
all of the revealed, authoritative Words of God.

24What does it mean to observe?
- The Greek word for observe means to guard or
keep. - We are to guard the integrity of Gods Word and
keep His commandments by Gods grace.
