• A new idea that has proven its worth in North
  Carolina and Illinois.
• Eliminates messy hay and feed areas in the
  pasture
• One stop feeding station
• Adapts well to rotational grazing situations
• Can be paid for through EQIP funds

• The station can also include water, working
  facilities, or loading areas.

• The station can be located next to a public or
  private road to eliminate traffic into the
  pasture.

Construction

• Open sided, covered structure with concrete floor
• Geotextile and gravel base located around the
  structure to eliminate mud due to traffic
• Storm water is drained away from structure to
  prevent washing and muddy areas.
• With the addition of watering troughs, water
  bodies can be fenced off. More funds.

• Most winter feeding stations now integrate an
  area to store manure and old hay until it can be
  spread in the spring

  feeders or concrete troughs for feeding.
