will continuously improve the ability of U.S.
military, federal agencies, and multinational
forces to fight effectively as a Joint and

- The intent is to build an accreditation process
that will ensure delivery of a recurring,
consistent, realistic training environment for
all units participating in joint training,
regardless of location - Enhance the ability of commanders to more
accurately assess the performance and joint
readiness of their organizations - Promote continuous improvement in joint training
through constructive feedback and an
incentive-based investment strategy

- Near term JNTC focus is guided by the JFCOM Joint

COCOMs will be supported by the JNTC in that
COCOMs training programs - The focus of JNTC implementation is Accreditation
and Certification - Accreditation and Certification are about
fielding capabilities that provide persistent
joint context in training programs to satisfy
joint training on those specific training
requirements

5.9. The Commander, Joint Forces Command, in

Chiefs of Staff, shall 5.9.1. Manage the

43What is a Technical View-1?
- The Technical Standards Profile (TV-1) consists
of the set of systems standards rules that govern
systems implementation and operation of a given
architecture. - TV-1 delineates which standards may be used to
implement the systems, system hardware/software
items, communications protocols, and system data
formats. - TV-1 documents the existing constraints that
might influence modernization design decisions
and system investment decisions. They provide the
basis for making decisions on retiring or
evolving existing systems and replacing them with
new systems or with updated system capabilities.
This ability to relate technology to operational
and performance improvement enables the creation
of a technology investment roadmap that is
defensible in terms of the systems and
capabilities provided.
