Deadlines for E-rate plans
www.e-ratecentral.com/default.asp has all the
important filing dates for E-rate
applications. For Nassau BOCES review, plans
should be received by May 1, 2004 to allow time
for reading, comments, and revisions if needed.

Writing or Revising Your Plan
  • Build on what you have, but be aware that some
    Districts NEED TO START OVER
  • Include recent needs analysis
  • Use SED test results and other district measures
    to identify needs
  • Surveys of staff (and students) re tech skills
