• Not included in any previous reconstruction
  projects
• Profile has aged substantially and was not
  performing up to standard
• Area used frequently for feature races HK Cup,
  HK Vase, APQEII, HK Derby

Aging of Stable Bend

• Drainage is lowered substantially
• To reduce the effect of organic matter
  accumulation, the Club has modified its
  maintenance procedures over the past 7 years to
  include more intense coring and sand topdressing,
  but performance of Stable Bend is still inferior
  due to its age
