MANAGING AUTHORITY

IMPLEMENTATION OF AXES 1, 2, AND 3 AT MAFF

• Holders of measures of axes 1, 2 and 3 perform
  expert tasks under each measure (preparing
  selection criteria, public calls and
  documentation...).
• They represent direct help to axes
  coordinators in providing operational support to
  the Managing Authority and offer expert help to
  holders of measures at the AAMRD in the
  implementation of public calls.
• Responsible for the implementation and
  disbursements is the Paying Agency.

IMPLEMENTATION OF AXIS 4 - LEADER OFFICE

• selection of Local Action Groups
• verification of Local Development Strategies
• administrative check, on-the-spot checks,
  monitoring, reporting
• disbursements are made by the Paying Agency

PAYING AGENCY

• The Agency carries out the following basic tasks
• - Authorisation of payments
• - Execution of payments
• - Accounting for payments
• The PA has adequate internal controls and in
  particular controls for payments in line with the
  eligibility conditions confirmed by the MA.
• Agreement between the MA and PA determining the
  obligations of both institutions, information
  flow and tasks division ensuring balanced
  implementation of the RDP 2007-2013

IT SUPPORT FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RDP
2007-2013

• At present the AAMRD is in the process of
  establishing IT support which will consist of 3
  stages
• e-registration of applications for public calls
• application processing from their submission to
  the issuing of the decisions on the allocation
  of funds
• reporting and monitoring.
• IT support is aimed at easier and faster
  processing of applications and monitoring of the
  implementation at the AAMRD.
