How to Prepare an After School Snack

• Your teacher has asked you to compose a
  procedural writing explaining the steps one would
  follow when making a peanut butter and jelly
  sandwich, Kool-Aid, or macaroni and cheese.
• Before you begin to write, think about the
  cooking method, necessary ingredients, and
  cooking utensils.
• Now write at least one informative paragraph
  explaining the steps one should follow in making
  an after school snack.
• Your composition should have at least one
  paragraph.
• Give details and enough information so your
  teacher will understand what happened.
• Be sure to write clearly.
• Check your writing for correct spelling,
  punctuation, and grammar.
• Use transition words to show sequence.
• Use a variety of descriptive words in your
  writing.
