• Positive attitude

• Provide opportunities for sharing individual

• Maps of different origins of each student
• Have lessons around particular events such as MLK
  birthday and different cultural holidays
• Perform plays on different cultures

Becoming aware of differences between students

• Contact students before school year begins.
• Know the background culture of the students.
• Spend one on one time with each student.
• Have a positive interaction with each student.

  about them, and see them.
• Also as teachers we must recognize students as
  human beings.
