Eighth Grade Science

• New course material in Chemistry, Physics, and
  Earth Science
• Review material from 5th - 8th grade
• 1 hour Lab performance examination given from
  April 3rd April 10th (Part D)
• 2 hour written exam given between May 1st
  and May 9th (Parts A - C)

Grading Policy

• Grades are based on the following work
• Test average
• Quiz average
• Lab grades
• Homework
• Graphing homeworks
• Grade sheets are sent home at least twice a
  marking period.

Student Expectations

• Students are expected to come to extra help if
  they are experiencing difficulty.
• Students are expected to complete assignments on
  time. Late assignments will be penalized or not
  accepted.
• Students are responsible for making up missed
  work promptly.
• Behavior should be appropriate at all times.
