Terminology Review

• Entity A person, place, thing, event, or
  condition about which data and information are
  collected. (i.e. table)
• Instances of entities are stored in records
• Attribute A category of data or information that
  describes an entity. Each attribute is a fact
  about the entity (i.e. fields)
• Primary key designated field used to uniquely
  identify a record.
