Eating Out (p. 11)
  • Czechs will usually start a meal with a drink
before food arrives. You should wait until
everyone has a drink and then toast by saying Na
    Zdravi.
  • Lightly touch glasses with everyone at the table
and look into their eyes as doing so.
  • Try not to cross your arms with another person
    when touching glasses.

6
Eating Out
  • When food arrives wish everyone a good appetite
    by saying Dobrou Chut.
  • In restaurants you will usually seat yourself.
If there is no host/hostess greeting you at the
door then simply pick an open table where you
would like to sit and your waitperson will assist
    you.

7
Walking Tour
  • On Jan 14th I will give you a guided tour of
    Prague.
  • This will be a long day, so wear good waterproof,
    comfortable shoes.
  • The schedule is on page 17 of your orientation
    guide.
  • Please bring the map and directions with you on
Jan 14th, along with your guidebooks.

Shopping
  • Pages 18 19 of your orientation guide lists
several shopping districts and shopping malls.
  • There are several boutiques that carry European
designers that are not yet available in the US,
but in general these items are quite expensive.

9

information and on page 7 is my contact
    information.
