• Typically held at a worksite within short
  walk/drive for target audience
• Generally is a supplement to other Chapter
  activities, but not in lieu of other Chapter
  activities

• Share program ideas and presentations with other
  chapters nation wide
• Best Chapter Programs can be posted on the NCMA
  intranet
• Successful programs can be shared by writing a

Contracted Formal Training Courses

• NCMA Chapter brokers agreement between multiple
  major local employers and an established
  commercial training firm to bring in multi-day
  courses like
• Introduction to Federal Contracting
• Government Contract Law
• Cost Pricing for Government Contracts
• For a fixed-price, paid in advance to NCMA
  Chapter, each employer gets x guaranteed seats
  in the course at a greatly reduced rate
• NCMA Chapter contracts with commercial training
  firm for on-site delivery to an audience of y
  students
• NCMA Chapter then hosts the event and sells
  additional seats (up to class capacity of
  y-x) at a fair market price
