The K-12 Structure

• 3 levels of education
• Pre-Primario (kindergarten 1 year)
• Primario (elementary 6 years)
• Medio (middle/highschool 6 years)
• Básico (3 years) basic general culture
  activities that allow student to choose the
  specialization that will tie him/her to
  professional life
• Diversificado (3 years) interdisciplinary
  approach that allows students the integration of
  knowledge into the materialization of the
  profession and the connection with higher
  education studies
