About this Class

• Precalculus is a program of mathematical study
  focusing on the development of the students
  ability to understand and apply the study of
  functions and advanced mathematical concepts to
  solve problems. The course will include an
  in-depth study of polynomials, rational,
  exponential, logarithmic and circular functions.
  Other topics included sequences, series, binomial
  theorem vectors, conic sections, parametric
  equations and polar curves.

Test

• Test will be take on each unit of work.
  Objectives to be covered on the test will be
  listed on the unit syllabus

Quiz

• Two or three quizzes will be given on each unit.
  Quiz will be used to evaluate understanding of
  test objectives.

Portfolio

• This will be a showcase of your work along with
  structured activities. In addition to being a
  part of the unit grade, contents of the folder
  will be used in the MYP Assessment Portfolio

Project

• Group projects on enriching problems relating to
  the topics being studied. Groups of 3-4 students
  will work to prepare a presentation of a problem.

Graded Assignments

• Graded assignments will be papers written in
  class on homework and will be graded for accuracy.

Bonus Points

• Perfect Attendance/ ID worn DAILY..1
• No retakes on Quizzes or Test....1
