Homework
Each class session has an assignment see
schedule. Homework is due at the end of class
meeting (todays homework will be collected next
class meeting). Homework is read and evaluated (8
points each). Homework must be submitted in a
considerate and professional manner. Late,
sloppy, or otherwise unacceptable papers will be
returned unread with no credit. Content and
Presentation are equally important!

You must pass the final to pass the course.

  • You will complete one project for this course
    (10 of final grade).
  • You may work individually or with a partner
    partners must notify me two weeks before the
    project due date that they are working together.
  • Project must be professional quality.

  • Identify the type of graphing calculator you will
    use. Go to my website and download the tech
    skills documents that apply to your model.
  • Bring these documents with you to my office hours
    by Friday, January 30. This is worth 8 points.
    (If you cannot make my scheduled office hours,
    email me to make an appointment.)

2.0 units Stuart Moskowitz If it doesnt cost
you any money, please register for one or both of
these classes. The units can not be applied to
the unit requirement for graduation but, they do
count for financial aid and benefits. These
units finance the math tutoring lab.

Videos
Videos are available at the reserve desk in the
library. The videos are in two forms CD-ROM
(for library use only) and VHS tape (may be
checked out for overnight use). To check out a
tape, identify the section of the text for which
you want the video.
