The guiding principles of NRF, state that
interventions should

• Deliver the Manchester Community Strategy (MCS)
  and the Manchester Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy
  (MNRS), and where available, particular thematic
  and/or local neighbourhood strategies that flow
  from the MCS or MNRS
• Have the support of a Local or Thematic
  Partnership
• Change attitudes and behaviours in the delivery
  of mainstream services.

interventions should Continued

• Demonstrate that they are financially sustainable
  beyond the lifetime of the support provided
• Have a measurable impact on the National Floor
  Targets for deprivation / or the Manchester PSA
• Promote social inclusion, equality and diversity

• Ensure that delivery rests with those
  organisations best suited to deliver the
  initiatives and outcomes
• Take place within existing or future area
  regeneration programmes on the ground.
