Neptune was discovered in 1846 by John C. Adams
and Urbain Leverrier Voyager 2 passed Neptune in
1989. It took 9,000 pictures! Neptune was named
after an ancient Roman god of the sea.

Neptune has Great Dark Spot that looks like a
hurricane! The storm is the size of Earth! One
of Neptune's moons is named after his daughter!

Triton.
