Implications

• 3rd graders can learn to speak up for themselves
  in a non-violent, productive way.
• Students are solving some problems for
  themselves. Therefore, teacher have more time to
  teach.

• Students need to understand that this is not the
  only method of conflict management
• Small groups for extended practice using I
  Statements may be helpful for students still
  receiving DRs (Discipline Referrals)
