Damaged Items

• Do NOT attempt to repair damages yourself.
• Give the damaged item to the librarian
  immediately.
• Honest patrons pay no fines!

Lost Items

• Tell the librarian immediately when you think an
  item is lost.
• Pay for the lost item, but keep looking for it.
• When you find return the item, the librarian
  will return your money! )

• Take a computer test to receive points.

Prairie Bud Prairie Pasque

• Prairie Bud is a South Dakota reading promotion
  for readers in K-3. Prairie Pasque is for readers
  in 4-6.
• Get a list of titles from the librarian.
• Read at least 5 titles.
• Voting for your favorite title is in March.
• The winning title will be announced in April.

Book Fair

• The Hillcrest PTA sponsors an annual book fair
  from the Scholastic Book company.
• The Book Fair is held every fall, during
  conferences.
